for Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Presider: We are blessed to know God as Father Creator, Word Son, and Bonding Spirit. Understanding that God loves us, offer the Lord our concerns and needs of our hearts, minds, and hands.

 

Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, Hear our prayer”

 

1.That Pope Leo has the Spirit’s wisdom to lead our Church in the path of unity, of service, and of holiness, we pray...

 

2. That Bishop __________, clergy in our diocese, consecrated religious, and lay leadership open their hearts to the presence of the Spirit as guide for the ministries of our church, we pray...

 

3. That politicians, states people, diplomats of all nations be guided in their work by goodness and morality and the selflessness of the Trinity, we pray...

 

4. That organizations and support groups dedicated to the safety and protection of vulnerable women and children are supported by our parish, we pray...

 

5. That educators and administrators of education systems have the wisdom to plan and implement programs benefiting all students, we pray...

 

6. That persons incarcerated develop skills and hope for a productive life in the world. That they are welcomed into community when released, we pray...

 

7. That military personnel be adequately trained to complete their duties with courage and integrity, we pray...

 

8. That those who died this week (list here) and those approaching death’s door are encouraged by faith and sacrament. That the intention of this Mass, (list here) _____is (are) remembered in our prayers, we pray...

 

9. Let us petition God for our personal needs and for help resolving concerns of hand, mind, and heart: (pause) Let us place these intentions on the altar with the financial gifts we offer for the ministries of our community, we pray...

 

Presider: Most Holy Trinity, with humility we ask your assistance being faithful to the teaching and works of the Son. Help us practice a selfless love for one another. We ask this, Father, in the name of your incarnated son, Jesus, who lives and rules with you in the unity of the Spirit, now and forever.

 

Response: Amen.
