General Intercessions Christ the King November 23, 2025
Presider: The Lord will come to rule the world with Justice. He will establish equity. With confidence in the truth and justice of God we offer our concerns and joys to the Lord Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, Hear our prayer”
1.That Pope Leo and Bishop _____ , by prayer, sacrifice, and preaching grow justice and equity in clergy and laity for all persons without regard for wealth, power, social status, we pray
2. That parish leadership create an environment of welcome and encouragement for in creating the Kingdom of Heaven especially for those on the margins of society, we pray
3. That diplomats work for justice for third world countries and discover effective ways of inviting them to participate in the socio-economic successes of wealthy nations, we pray
4. That elementary, secondary, college, and university educators encourage students in need of mentoring, we pray
5. That employers pay their employees a fair, living wage, we pray
6. That first responders treat all clients and patients with dignity and respect, we pray
7. That parents and guardians instill in their children the values of the Kingdom of God that treats all persons with respect, we pray
8. That the Lord inspire each member of our parish with the healing rays of the sun of God’s justice, we pray
9. That those approaching the portal of death are supported by faith and sacrament. That those who died this week (list here) and the intentions of this Mass (list here) _____is (are) remembered in this Eucharist, we pray
10. We approach God for personal needs and concerns of hand, mind, and heart: We bring our personal and family needs. (pause) We place these intentions on the altar with the financial gifts offered for ministries of our community, we pray
Presider: Father God, inspire us to embrace and practice the Love or creation, for each person we encounter, and you our Creator. May your Kingdom come, may your will be done. We ask this help in the name of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
